The idea I came up is called The Pokemon Adventure and it will revolve around everyone’s favorite 10-year-old Ash Ketchum. So to make sure that the park does have enough shows, there will have to be a Pokemon themed show. If Pokemon Land was to replace the Kids Zone, that would mean Universal would lose two of its current show offerings (those being Animal Actors and the Barney show). I’ve always wanted to go to it so it would be great if I could go to one at a theme park. The other thing I thought was to have one of the Pokemon cafe’s that you can find in Japan. The first thing that came to my mind was a Vanilluxe ice cream stand. From Ash and Misty, to Pikachu and Eevee, you will be able to take pictures with them and get their autographs. Something for kids to do at the land is meet with characters and Pokemon from the series. Moreover, there will also be Pokemon statues and animatronics to add to the idea you’re in the world of Pokemon. Spread throughout the land will be buildings representing places from the games, like Pokemon Centers and Gyms. Whenever you enter the area I want it to feel like you’ve stepped into the world of Pokemon. I want something similar for Pokemon Land. The way they rebuilt the world added a level of immersion that had never really been seen at a theme park before.
However, the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal is easily the best thing the park has to offer. I can build whatever I want there, rather than having to just change what is already there.ĭespite being English, I’m not the biggest Harry Potter fan. On top of this, it also allows me more creative freedom.

This is mainly due to everything in that zone being for kids and can only really be enjoyed by them. So I am going to be a bit selfish here and say that they should completely knock down the kids zone and rebuild, rather than just re-theming whats already there. In fact, the rumors have gotten me so excited that I have thinking of ideas about what a Pokemon Land could look like. It is a blend of two of my favorite things being Pokemon and Theme Parks. This is something that I want to be true so badly. For a while now, rumors have circulated about a Pokemon Land coming to Universal Studios Orlando, replacing the very outdated Woody Wood Peckers Kid Zone.
